My farm is located in the rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut. It is a market garden sized to be farmed by one woman using no-pesticide, no-till intensive farming practices. My focus crops are strawberries, raspberries, peas and salad greens supplemented by other typical crops grown in New England. Using sustainable growing practices, the farm provides sustenance and joy to me, my family, and local customers.
ABOUT MY FARM
For the 2022 growing season, I expect to pick strawberries from August - October and raspberries from June - September. I will be producing new varieties of greens - both cooked and raw - peas and herbs as well as spring tulip and daffodil bouquets. I am continuing to build my soil health as a means of combating pests as well as providing a more nutrient-dense product. Creating a sustainable one-woman farm that offers the best crops I can is my number one goal year over year.
